War on Wild Horses & Burros

Over the past 7 years the BLM has been mandated to remove thousands of wild horses and burros from public lands – from their legal ranges. You won’t hear the BLM complain about the cost to taxpayers for all of these roundups, but you sure hear them complain about the cost to taxpayers of supporting them once they’re in government pens – a problem they created. It costs taxpayers nothing to leave them in the wild. There are 4.1 million domestic livestock on public lands and less than 24000 wild horses and less than 3000 burros. This is what they call a balanced ecosystem in the name of “multiple use.” Wild horses and burros should be listed as a threatened species. Public lands ranching contributes less than 3% of the total beef consumed in the US and costs taxpayers at least 3 times as much through federal subsidies as the wild horse and burro eradication program. It’s either that or “they’re starving” and need to be “saved”. Wild horses & burros survived for centuries without man’s so-called help. The question is, will they survive man? People need to call Congress and demand an …
