****** PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION!!!!! ****** (No, you can’t use this video for your projects. Sorry sorry!) I took this video of Charlie after he had been on box rest for 2 months following a leg injury. I can’t actually remember what he had done now (it was so long ago, around late 2008/early 2009), but if you look carefully you can see a bright blue bandage on his right front leg, above the knee. He doesn’t ever buck when I’m riding, the only reason he’s going so crazy is because he had been in for so long, when he is used to being out every day (and stabled at night). When I turned him out here, he also rolled about 6000 times – a lot of footage I edited out, because it’s more boring than the bucking and rearing! To those of you who post nice comments – thank you all so, so much! It makes my day hearing that you like the video, or you like Charlie! Horses are such beautiful creatures, and Charlie’s antics brightens my day everyday! What I think happened was the horses cantered up the hill then when it was time to take off they then saw what was on the other side which caused a green horse to hesitate and loose their focus. Smooth Rider aka Odin saved us both. The rider in front of us fell and others before had problems. The fence was then removed.
